I don’t get this narrative that Jake Coker is just this abomination of a QB.
He balled in 2015.

It's because few people really remember him. He was a one-and-done, starting for just one season before moving on. He couldn't beat out Blake Sims like everyone thought he would in 2014 and was mediocre in the first few games of the 2015 season. He won over the team in the loss to Ole Miss and got better as the season progressed. By the post-season he was the QB we all expected him to be when he transferred in from Florida State.
