If they made it legal for players to receive a maximum of say 50k a year this would not have happened. But being so stubborn and worried about meaningless stuff like if a player got a $100 handshake or a loaner car from a dealer or if a player gave a girl a math book. They created this mess.


There are no NCAA bylaws on the subject. They are letting State's set the standard right now.

That will change. Once this stuff settles down and we settle into the new blueprint for doing business you will see some new bylaws to govern NILs.

In the meantime, nothing has really changed the balance of power in college football. The big boys are eating.
Can you name me one blueblood program that has been hit hard by the new business model?

I still think the magic portal is changing the dynamics of college football more than NILs.
