No, losing a game on a bone headed HC call and bad ref call are solid as ice to what Aggie has done in response to their own administration running away from Wake with their tails between their legs.

Why didn't that same ref make that silent call

Why in the hell would any ref not use his frickin whistle??? Isn’t this what all the players listen for to stop playing??? It’s bullshite. I agree with the TN fans.

Exactly. Why didn't that same ref make that silent call when our no tackling arse defense let that tight end score. We deserve ALOT of blame for that but if you want to act as if we didn't get fricked on that you're not being honest with yourself.

NO such thing as a silent call. Whistle ends a play, even an inadvertent whistle.

Also if the whistle is irrelevant and a silent call for end of progress counts, that can be downright dangerous. One player stops playing because he sees ref running in and the other player plows him because he didn’t hear the whistle or see the ref running in.

Y’all do realize college refs get a fair amount of money for officiating, don’t you? Enough it likely is all a lot of them do….plus expenses.

What does a 10 yr veteran referee make in a season, ballpark salary? Does he make over $100,000 + benefits + refinement + expenses during the season?

I’m curious to know what they make.
