What percent of Tamu Scholarship players will go out on NYE?

I’m guessing more than 80% will be healthy enough to celebrate.

They’re likely healthy enough today.
Testing positive =/= being symptomatic.

Exactly. All of the A&M bashing aside for a second, I do not understand why they made the Gator Bowl cancellation decision this early. I would expect a ton of the players are asymptomatic and would test negative before kickoff. Is there some sort of deadline on when they have to test negative??

It means they are “contagious”

For the record, I wasn’t disagreeing w the OP.
Undoubtedly we’ll learn more over the next week or so.
Answers, apart from “Jimbo is scared!” are tough to come by right now.

Gotcha. And I understand there is a lot here that will come out related to what A&M could and couldn't do in regards to Covid protocol, it just seems on the surface to be a bad look to bail 9 days before the game.
