Out of curiosity, just how much is Harsin’s buyout?

Bryan Harsin is in the first season of a six-year contract at Auburn, where he took over as head coach late last December. The Tigers’ new coach will earn $5 million this year, with annual increases of $100,000 each January. That makes Harsin, for the 2021 season, the 19th-highest paid head coach in college football and the seventh-highest paid coach in the SEC, according to USA Today’s annual head coach salaries database, which was updated Thursday.

quote:

Harsin’s $5 million salary this year puts him squarely in the middles of the pack in the SEC and ranks behind Alabama’s Nick Saban ($9.7 million), LSU’s Ed Orgeron ($9 million), Florida’s Dan Mullen ($7.57 million), Texas A&M’s Jimbo Fished ($7.5 million) Georgia’s Kirby Smart ($7.13 million) and Kentucky’s Mark Stoops ($5.26 million) among SEC coaches. Those six coaches rank first, second, sixth, seventh, eighth and 15th nationally, respectively, in salary for 2021. Harsin’s $5 million salary is equal to that of Mississippi State coach Mike Leach this year.

Glad everyone is happy with him because the buyout on top of ex-coaches still on “payroll” would make it difficult (financially) to hire a replacement.

My source was just a list . I never went into the details of the interviews. Only dumbasses like you can not see that the list was accurate, but some real morons try find a way to discredit at the same time as admitting it was actual. How many of you DAs tried to claim AU never interviewed the ACC DC ? Now your new claim is they were outbided. LOL, what a fricking moron.

When did we start playing 12 games?

2002-2003, then permanently in 2006.

Not everyone is happy with him but he’s not going anywhere now and after all the $ we’ve seen thrown around by Auburn, LSU, Florida the last couple of years I don’t think firing him and hiring a replacement will be much of an issue.

the list was accurate

Dan Quinn-Former ATL Falcons Head Coach
Scott Satterfield- Louisville Head Coach
Brent Venables-DC @ Clemson
Tony Elliot- RB coach @ Clemson
Bill O’Brien- Former Texans Coach
Mike Gundy-OKSU HC
Jamey Chadwell, Coastal Carolina
Steve Sarkisian, Alabama OC
Bill Clarke, UAB HC
Matt Campbell ISU HC
Hugh Freeze Liberty HC

Either a) your list - or your sauce if you even have one - was bullshite.

or

b) Auburn's had to go down to at least their 12th pick for their HC.

Which is it?

No dumbass, that list came out the Monday after Gus was fired. The list wasn't complete and Greene added Harsin himself. You are so fricking clueless.
