I usually try to avoid the conspiracy theories, but I remember my first concern was when JT was pulled for Stetson for a series in the first quarter against South Carolina. JT had led us to a 14 point lead on our first two possessions. Stetson comes in and immediately throws an interception. I was watching it with my family, and no one could understand why JT was pulled. I think Kirby said Stetson earned a series. Why pull him for a series so early in the game?

The non-conspiracy theory would be that JT was playing hurt and maybe they wanted to limit his time as much as possible. The more sinister theory could be...who knows?

But it is interesting that IF JT truly had gotten back to 100% health with 3 or 4 games left in the season (as Smart kept insisting was the case), why wasn't the door swinging both ways? Had JT not earned some time? Would it not have been prudent to get him in more, even just to get back in sync?

Unless the health issue was more lingering than Smart let on or there was a personal conflict, it doesn't make sense. We'll find out eventually.
