I love that a player like Jordan Davis can be recognized with a well deserved award. No one was better this past season or played harder.

College football is not like any other sport for me. Loved growing up hearing Keith Jackson call a ball game, while hearing Rocky Top or something in the background. Rabid fans, enthusiastic commentators and awesome bands make the SEC special. Each of us all have our favorites. You gotta love that Auburn loves to throw toilet paper in trees, or LSU's rowdy fans on a drunk Saturday night singing "Neck", or the Gator chomp by a bunch of fratsters in jorts, or Dixieland Delight after the third quarter.
I for one am blessed to have experienced what I think has been the greatest 40 years of college football. With all of the upcoming changes I hope it continues, but it may not.
