So you had doubts the entire season up to the Auburn game. I am sure glad Young finally played well enough in your opinion to warrant such magnanimous approval.

Lookie here Clem. You want to homer and start proclaiming "Heisman" for the right guard on your team before the season starts...fine. I don't give much of a shite about "Heisman." I watched the entire Coach Bryant era and never saw an Alabama player with a Heisman, and never lost any sleep about it.

This year I watched a lot of other-team games. I was casually looking for evidence of being a most valuable "football player" for his team, someone not an opt-out, quit, portal guy. When Young went downfield to throw that block, and also when he wrestled the ball back to recover the fumble, I saw a football player.

He will get my vote. And you? You can go F-yourself.
