Maybe bringing in extra cash to pay Freddie?

It is odd, in that the Braves were one of the few teams to have ownership/control of their full minor league system.

I got an email from Gwinnett announcing that they were now a part of Diamond Baseball Holdings, but that everything would stay the same (Braves affiliate, stay in Gwinnett, etc.).

Don't know about that.

Minor leagues are usually money losers and the parent club is on the hook for all salaries.

Probably shoulda dumped em a while
