You can pretend it didn't happen, but Fay PD definitely lost several officers after the BLM nonsense that played out courtesy of Petty and Kyle Smith.

The Fayetteville FOP even discussed it on their social media. People left the Fayetteville PD specifically because of that "no confidence" action that was implied by the whole mess.

Anyway, happy Petty is gone. He talked so much about diversity, yet he and wifey live in maybe the whitest neighborhood in the state outside of Harrison, adjacent to the Fayetteville historic district, full of rich people in expensive old homes.
