I hope they are right. Was Jenkins injured in the championship game?

I don't know
That was clear awhile back

I even clarified what Weagle was arguing (better <> talented) in the post you decided to insert yourself on.
With all the bullshite semantic arguments on here, it is easy to get caught up. #frickJoey

he played NDSU who won their 5th straight title, but JS came in with the #2 ranked FCS offense avg 530 yds per game.
NDSU defense appears to be superb that game and shut them all down based on summary and box score.
NDSU had the ball on offense for almost 41 minutes.
Jenkins committed 4 TO's in that game. He accumulated 145 Yds in total yards.
He completed 35% of his passes.
He did average 5.9 yds a carry on 15/88 and 1 TD.
Without watching the game I can only give some numbers and no commentary on what happened other than NDSU dominated JS. Does that make him bad or good?
NDSU vs JS, if you are interested in the game

Yeah I knew he played in the game. I was wondering if he played hurt.

I believe I answered that with the very first word.

So instead of the Frazier, Moseley, Trotter debacle, we will have JJ, White, JFIII debacle all over again.

In addition, Jenkins will miss spring practices after having surgery for what coach John Grass called a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder. Grass said Jenkins played with the injury throughout his junior season, when the Gamecocks went 13-2, repeated as Ohio Valley Conference champions and finished as the FCS runners-up to North Dakota State.

So it wasn't an injury bad enough to stop him from playing. He excelled in other games. It shouldn't be an excuse for the title game.

frick what you guys are melting about. Finally watched the SEC Storied about 2013, and at the end Malzahns daughters are giving him shite because he wont touch a fish. If true, I'm officially on the #firegus train.

There were no excuses intended. He did excel in other games. Maybe with a stronger shoulder his overall velocity will improve though.

All I know is that I liked the way he played vs us, and I liked his highlights. I am intrigued by him. Is he the answer? I have no clue.

Bingo. He LOOKS good on tape. Damn what the stats say. He throws a pretty ball, usually places it well. For the most part he takes damn good care of the ball. So I really couldn't give a damn about 1 game vs. NDSU. His tape looks really good and he looks to be a great fit and I think we could run the zone read like we did with NM but be even more balanced.

JJ looked like a good fit in '14 when he played against shitty DBs too

No idea if dude would be good or bad but I don't think he's the lock for success that some on here think

Well let's hope that Eli isn't a mental fvcking basketcase either. Dead honest...I got the yips playing baseball in college (couldn't throw to 1st base/pick off to save my life) and it was just the most ridiculous shite ever. JJ has that EXACT same look in his eyes I had. That dude lost his shite and it ain't coming back........anyways, let's hope Eli doesn't have that mental block.

None of this arguing matters because Sean White is going to be our QB this year.
