It really is different this time. Was ready for Tubs, Chizik, and Gus to go, but I like them as people.

You must have not been paying attention. Lanier says he agreed with the firing but the hiring of Harsin was botched.
Gus was running out program down as well. He was responsible for our shitty OL recruiting. Sorry, it was absolute the correct move. Greene fubarred the new hire.

I did a poor job of explaining myself. Allow me to clarify the thought I poorly expressed earlier. It was a mistake to fire Gus Malzahn without a plan for an upgrade. The plan they had was to install Steele as a caretaker for a few years until they had finished paying off Malzahn's contract. When that blew up panic set in and we wound up with Harsin. Moving from Malzahn to Harsin was the mistake. Not moving on from Malzahn
