I started at Auburn in September 1980.
That is the year they had one of the weakest college football schedules I've ever fricking seen in my entire life and then added Herschel Walker to their team.
And that equaled mythical national championship.
Prior to that? They were just merely irritating.
After that? They deserved every bad thing that could happen to them.
And that is true to this day.
