Harper's deep shooting got GM to bite on a ridiculous 3 shot fake

If you can shoot the 3 and are wide open you take it.

I guess old announcers talking about patience when a guy takes a great shot like Livingston for GM

Murray is athletic AF and highpoints the ball on rebounds. He is going to be good at PF even at 6'3

So unlike our normal "they couldn't miss" shite, George Mason shot 46.2% 3FG on 26 attempts but 26.4% 2FG

We have up some open shite 3s we need to fix, but it was due to shutting down 2FG and lack of close out. Much better than our usual bullshite D

Agreed. Offense is still very streaky and sloppy at times, but those first 10 or so minutes were a thing of beauty. Hopefully we start seeing more of that.

McEmore is #1 nationally in kenpom block % at around 22%

For perspective no one has been >20% for a full season in the past decade

What's the excuse for all our other home games?

My guess would be football getting a spark and our two best players being ineligible. I know a few people who have season tickets but just haven't made the trip down yet. Hopefully with football winding down and the team winning we will see attendance go up. I'll be at the BHAM JAM and plan on a making a trip or two down at some point this year.

Even when we are winning, we struggle getting season ticket holders in the building for non Bama/UK games.

It's the drawback of ticket priority system. You can't turn down people who donate a lot of $, but those people also don't care about making sure seats are filled

The 3 game stretch of MTSU, Murray and UConn will be huge for this season. 3 of our top 4 ooc games. Should show us what we have and if there are any post season hopes at all for this team as currently constructed.

Of course, we have to beat Gardner Web and UAB to even get to that point.

If we don't finish OOC 12-1, we are going to be in some trouble.

Yeah. Need to be 11-2 at the worst, with the other loss coming to a team that maintains a solid rpi.

Honestly, without Purifoy and Wiley, I think we finish very similar to last season.

What the other team's RPI is doesn't matter other than "eye test" / perception. For that, UConn probably is the best L followed by MTSU

In terms of keeping our RPI high, @Murray would be our best option for a L followed by neutral MTSU.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. We just don't have the ooc schedule to be able to be middle of the pack in the SEC and have bad losses on the resume.

We can't play or way into consideration over the next 5 games, but we can damn sure play or way out.

Temple is going to single handed tank our resume.

They beat both us and SoCar convincingly, then lost to GWash and La Salle
