Has anyone noticed a common denominator to the teams we've lost to? I follow the wins and losses of our basketball team but not the fundamentals. I know we're undersized but is there anything else amongst the teams we lost to?

So in each of those losses
We shot less than 35% from the 3-pt
We had at least 14 turnovers
We had at least 18 fouls
Common denominator? I guess each of those teams played good defense causing us to shoot terribly and turn the ball over

I'd obviously take him, but I don't think he is trying to ride the bench at AU. He wouldn't eat into Harper's minutes and it isn't clear he would get any of Davion Mitchell's.

Josh Nickelberry.
From ESPN
quote:
Strengths: Nickelberry is a throwback style shooting guard in that he plays with a scoring mentality based first and foremost around his jump shot. He's equally effective shooting off the dribble in the mid-range area as he is from behind the arc and has a special ability to make tough shots. He's a true three-range scoring threat who is well-built with an already strong body and solid athleticism off of two feet. He isn't a bad ball-handler and not bothered by contact off the dribble. He typically goes right at opposing defenders and shot-blockers when he decides to attack and can be a tough lay-up maker when he doesn't have the space to rise up. He's a solid rebounding guard who will fly at the offensive glass from time to time and is also an aggressive and physical half-court defender who can match-up with some bigger wings.
Weaknesses: While he shoots a high percentage from the perimeter, he has an unusually high number of bad misses, even on open rhythm shots, for a guy who is supposed to be a shooter. He's also not as good of a free-throw shooter as you would expect. Are those signs of a volume shooter? Only time will tell when we see how he fares with less reps but he's looking to score almost every time he touches the ball and willing to hunt his shots at times if necessary. He's not exceptionally quick, so he can struggle to defend in space at times and isn't a blow-by driver, and also isn't quite as long as he might look (6'4.5 wingspan).
Bottom Line: He's a scoring guard who relies most heavily on his jumper but is capable of scoring in all three ranges. He doesn't have great size, length, or truly elite athleticism though so it remains to be seen just how high his long-term ceiling will be.

He hasn't decided for sure on reclassifying, supposedly.
You could definitely play him and Harper together, though. Not so sure you could play him and Davion together. And even less sure he would want to be on the court with Harper, anyways. Regardless, he is the kind of talent that Bruce would obviously take and just figure it out.

Nickleberry probably ends up staying in NC. He seems to be saying a lot of positive things about both Duke + UNC

I'm dreaming but I'm imagining Devin Booker here.

So you want to eat into Bryce Brown or Samir Doughty's minutes?

In other news, Texas Tech picked up Khavon Moore. That seems completely out of the blue based on who were perceived favorites before 2018

Bryce will not be here in 2019. And, doesn't have to eat into Doughty's.

I'm assuming he does reclassify
I'd be happy to get him in the 19 class

We're still looking good with Isaac Okoro too, right?
