I'm starting to think this has more to do with his injury than anything else. If he's not feeling back to 100% by now, there's a significant chance of re-injury, and there's zero reason for him to play in the bowl game.

Yeah, it seemed like he was never 100% after pulling / tweaking his back. Don’t rush him there in a meaningless game.

He had the covid. No symptoms.
