I don’t know who that is. But with information I’ll listen to 3ish suggested songs and report back
I may be an embarrassment but I’m not unwilling to change

It’s such a shame that Roger Waters is a complete arse.

The society he was brought up in. Remember these guys fathers and mothers were alive during WWII. Then government over reach through out their youth.
His politics are abhorrent but his lyrical genius makes me give him a pass.

I dont even care about that jackass anymore. I am team Gilmour and always have been. I know what Roger did and I know what he wrote. He is a fricking musical genius. He also happens to be a pompous conceded jerk. frick him.
Jones, if you have not listened to any Pink Floyd, honestly, I will charge you with this task.
Put your head phones on, put on Dark Side of the Moon and just listen to it. If it doesn't make you a fan, then just stay with the Drake or Taylor Swift my friend.
In my opinion, it is the best piece of music ever recorded. The headphone trick will give you the full effect. And remember that this music came out 50 years ago
I am sure you have some kind of streaming service. I use Tidal and love the quality of the music there...

Lanier that’s the absolute truth greatest lyrics and musical masterpiece ever assembled.
For any non Floyd fans… just try it. I would start where Lanier said, then the Wall, maybe throw in Animals.

Billy Strings playing Floyd
That dude is so talented. I can listen to him all day.
Fearless was off the Meddle album which was my very first Floyd Album when I was not even a teen ager yet. I fell in love with it, especially Echoes, which set me on a path of obsession with The Floyd for the past 40 plus years. It is something that I have had with me my entire life.

Billy is the best flat picker ever. Fortunately caught on to him well before he exploded.
I watched a documentary a bit ago about Dark Side and it is astounding how they recorded that masterpiece. Not seeing Pink Floyd play live is one of my big regrets.

If I was forced to put the Floyd albums in some kind of order, Id go (not counting live albums)
Dark Side of the Moon
Wish You were Here
Animals
Meddle
Obscured by Clouds
Division Bell
The Wall
Momentary Lapse of Reason
etc

I have been chasing that myself. Ive spent the last 15 years following tribute bands around once I realized I would never see them after the Pulse tour. Fortunately, I saw it. There are some solid tribute bands out there that are certainly worth seeing.
When I was in Atlanta, there is a band called "Instellar Echoes" that put on a fantastic show. The lead singer and Bass player is a friend. They play all over the south
New band down here called Floyd Nation. Ive seen them twice in Bradenton and once in Punta Gorda. Good new band and they are learning more songs
Ive see Brit Floyd about 10 times. I feel they are the best single tribute band in the world. Ive flew to Red Rocks twice to see them and will be going back out there next year. I also have tickets to see them in 25 days in Clearwter. Cant wait

Taking a little nightly dip in the pool before bed and it’s like the sun is out here. Crazy bright.
