Meanwhile, a college freshman with no job can get a credit card.

I made that analogy to him. I said, you are giving me a shite rate because my score is low due to inactivity after I have completely paid off two homes to full term, one 15 year loan and one 10 year loan, I have a huge debt to income ratio and I am putting down over 60% of the loan but you will give some burger flipper a better rate because they are in debt or have been in debt to the hip?

You should not be penalized because you have elected to pay cash for things over your life and not pay the ban interest. Now I had plenty of loans and credit early in life which I paid back with no issues. But the past 25 years we have been fortunate enough to cut a check for what we wanted.

Ever since we got a debit card, I just dont use credit cards. It seems pointless to me. I use the VISA debit card for everything. Now I am paying my damn electricity bill, gas, trash pick up with a Amex and then sending another payment to them at the end of the month instead of just using the debit card to start with and being done with it

Its pointless and insane.

Flawed system

The letter we got from them about our credit score said the reasoning for the low score was "No installment payments, no mortgage". I just laughed at it and threw it in the trash can

And now that it has gone up, it pisses me off more to think that getting a loan and double dipping on cards has somehow made me whole again and now that I owe more, I can get a better rate. Insanity

WTF

My wife wants a new dishwasher, even though ours still works fine. Does that count?

Heck yea. But if you are a smart man, you will just get her the dishwasher and make her happy. They are cheap as frick.

Mine wanted a new car and it arrived at the dealership yesterday. Its being driven down here Monday.

I have been very happily married for 36 years. Trust me

Dealership in Georgia sent these today. I had them put the side bars on so she could get inside easily...

I have not done the video game thing since my Atari in the 70’s. Just not something I ever enjoyed personally.

It’s amazing how popular it got though

We’re already shopping online, and the ones she wants aren’t cheap. Lol

I counted 15 beers in my beer fridge and I’m going to try and drink most of them.

Boring old people here too but it’s all we got.

We are having some tacos, rice and lots of tequila. It’s been a while so we are doing it right. Tunes, tequila and my wife’s homemade tacos and corn tortillas. Good times for us old folk.

Thinking about heading over to the St Pete boat show tomorrow

Well boys, haven't shared anything about this here. Ol' Waffles has had himself quite the past year. Soaked in the syrup, you might say. Ended up with liver cirrhosis and in rehab. Yesterday, got the call I was being flown to ATL to try and get a transplant. Wish me luck

Good luck, man. And especially so to your support team at home, they’ve got some work ahead of them
