I've heard this, too.

I'm also hearing rumblings that before Lavon Hooks arrives for his unofficial, Craig will talk into Trooper Taylor's old office, grab the hat and towel laying on the desk, put the cap on backwards and walk outside to greet Hooks' car as it pulls up by waving the towel.

Haven't been able to confirm this yet, but all signs point to this being a real possibility.
