'm not fortune teller but I honestly believe under Gus with this roster and last years staff we go 9-3 possibly 8-4 depending on the Penn State Gam

Sorry man, I'm not an expert but there's no way Gus goes 9-3 or 8-4... I honestly think he'd have lost the GA State game and probably would've been fired, if not the team would've given up and been lucky to win 4 games. Again I'm no expert but nothing Gus did gave me any confidence. Best case he would've had 7 wins.

Awful. There’s plenty of room on the UCF bandwagon

Auburn won 6 conference games last year. 3 this year.

You add in the 3 cupcakes this year and that's 9 wins there. PSU would be a toss up.

Yeah because if Gus were good for anything it was a big road win.

I'm not a UCF or a Gus fan. I'm an Auburn football fan. Harsin ain't the dude and I'm a guy that never rides off from the coach until he's fired. But this dumbass we have coaching is going to literally drive us into the ground.

Gus would’ve gotten blown out by Alabama too. We just need better players.

Someone post his record at lsu, uga, and bama please. Luckily the refs gave him the Arkansas and ole miss game last year

2020 to 2021 the records are exactly the same. With a much bigger dominate win against LSU in 2020. arse whipping on the road in 2020 to from both bama and georgia.

Sorry I can admit the truth. I don't need shoulda coulda woulda's as excuses

Glad that 8th year terrible coach that kept getting blown out on the road and couldn’t develop a qb or o line is gone.

Glad you agree with me

I thought it was your rule that we move on from Gus and stop talking about him?

Nothing positive that I can see, but trends like these come and go. Not sure in the long run they mean all that much. Nice anecdotal stuff, but we'll see.

What are you gonna say next year when we have a losing record? Or the year after when we back to 6-6?

Here's the schedule and the W's and L's with Gus... best case 4 and again I believe he'd have been fired after the GA State loss. If he wins that one still only 5 wins.

Akron W
Alabama State W
Penn State L
Georgia State L
LSU L
Georgia L
Arkansas W
Ole Miss L
Texas A&M L
Mississippi State L
South Carolina W
Alabama L

Well now that I think about it, maybe you are right he was considered by many to be a perennial 8 win coach.

Why would Gus beat arky or South Carolina this year? He lost to one and the refs gave him a win vs another last year

Yep I'll give you that. Averaged about 8 wins. But did throw in a couple SEC championship appearances. National Title game. 3-5 against bama. In the height of a bama dynasty. Actually during his tenure he had 1 less against Saban then the entire conference since 2009. Unless you count his time as OC as well then it's he was tied for as many wins as the entire conference.

What do you think Harsin is going to average? 7 losses a year?
