Those are all on the coaches, man. You should be able to take 2 and 3 stars and have them read an offense and be in the right place.

I think our third down woes are tied to our lack of pass rush. They don't play with any kind of technique. They just seem hell bent and determined to try to bull rush and over power their blockers. We are also incredibly slow at the ends. Couple that with poor angles and we can't contain anyone from getting outside.

This is demonstrably false.

I can think of multiple occasions where we have had a 3rd and 20+ and our opponents ran a delay draw up the middle for 30 yards.

Or the secondary gets great coverage downfield, we get pressure on the QB, and he scrambles for 25.

So there.

If I was an opposing coach, I'd try to get into 3rd and long against Auburn. 3rd and 8? Tell your linemen to jump. You really want 3rd and 13 or more. It's nearly a guaranteed first.
