It’s definitely a joke that you think freshmen WRs compare to portal WRs. The portal guys want someone ready to go next season. The freshman are looking to the future and Walker White. PT is gone after next year or maybe even at the end of the spring. Freeze didn’t sell those incoming freshman on PT.

The freshman know Walker is probably 2 years away from starting. Those guys are looking at being 3 and done.

Freeze wants to win immediately. He sold the receivers when they watched film with him showing the crappy routes, drops, etc from this years group.
