There's a thread about it on the C-C board. All it says is that they made an offer.

Oh how I love/hate coaching changes. What are the facts on Boom and A&M? If what PM and JGT and people here have said is true, then it is just a waiting game until he is hired. Now all of a sudden you frickers want to mess with my emotions?!

Absolutely not, and Boom knows that.
But money is money, and TAMU has exponentially more (if you're looking at total booster largess) than Auburn does. We created the TAMU monster. Now we have to live with it.

I don't know why anyone things a&m isn't as good job as Auburn. He can make an obvious difference for either defense and he would have Texas to recruit which he is plenty familiar with. I want him at Auburn but a&m would be a great job too.
