Is his buyout not structured like every other coach's buyout ever? He'll make 2mil or whatever next year, only discrepancy will be what % of that Florida pays and what portion the new school pays...

Just like Loeffler at VT and trooper at Arky State....they took really low salaries from the new school, but were still making 400k or whatever....

that is, as long as Jacobs is here. Muschamp has MAJOR problems with Jacobs. Period.
He will not be here.
Per every AU reporter and insider this opinion is completely overblown as things stand right now.

No. UF pays Boom $2 mil a year for the next 3 years no matter what another school pays him through that time.

No, I thought the same, but he has made a negotiated buy out that will pay him 6mil no matter if he gets a job or not. My guess he will get a job since he will gain everything plus the payoff.

it's amazing what money will do.. Ask Rocker, Garner, Muschamp, Dooley, Dye and every other coach in America that has coached against their alma mater or school they pulled for growing up

Like that matters when it's your fricking career. Plus he's a Gus fan.

Holy lord almighty. He'll be making 3.5 next year-

1.5 to coordinate a defense, and 2 to not coach florida.....i'm going to start sending invoices to every team i'm not coaching.

Just saying I don't think he takes a gig when he can find one at a similar program. When did he ever say he was a Gus fan? He came from the Hall Mummy offensive tree. Not the Gus tree.

Why the hell would we not match that?

Poorly run Athletic Department. We actually lost money in 2013 (granted a lot of our money goes into paying for the Auburn Arena). As I have said before, anyone that has graduated from Auburn, with a real major, could do as well running the AD as Jacobs.

I am sure you're a fan of many people and things. Did you come from a direct line to be a fan?

No arguments there but money won't be an issue. Never is when it comes to winning football games.

You mean the same Bammer fricks that are trying to nip his college career in the bud before it even gets a good start?

Those Bammers?

Will be massively disappointed if that happens.

This. Clark might be a solid coach, but he doesn't have the network Will does to build a good staff on the defensive side.

Frankly, I don't think it could POSSIBLY be any worse than the status quo.
