Somewhere on this board I posted that Gus earned being coach in 2018 but I didn’t support the big contract.

Nice bump. Makes me happy and pissed at the same time to see I was correct in my assessment.

Hmmm. Not sure how much I hate my answer.
I mean, at the time it looked like he had kinda turned the corner win the team but the warning signs have always been there. But I was wrong to think that we’d have been worse off with him bolting to Arkansas.
Though who knows who our administration would have gotten to replace him. Kodi Burns probably.
