we hire a coach. we give him time to implement his program. If it doesn't work, we move on.
People bitching about "fire Harsin" after one season...........it takes a full season to figure out what you have on the roster. It takes that much time to figure out who you can use and who you can't.
Finding lightning in a bottle is not something common. We damn sure aren't ever going to get a quality established HC running off coaches every few years. To us they are just coaches. To them it's their life and their families lives. They uproot their families to go wherever. coaches climbing the ladder understand that. HC's want stability.

Better still, name an HC we could hire right now to replace Harsin who hasn’t ever lost games to less talented teams.
There are plenty of legitimate reasons to consider replacing our HC, but underperforming on the field in his first season is not really one of them.

I get your point of where our coaches usually come from but at some point we are just going to have to hire the best candidate out there. Sometimes the best candidate isn’t the glorified candidate. LSU would probably do better with Brian Kelly’s replacement at Notre Dame than Brian Kelly, himself. Brian Kelly is an example of forcing a home run hire when money is no issue.

How much time do we give him? Too many years of poor recruiting puts the program in a hole that is hard to get out of. There are a couple of SEC teams in that position now.

NO, we do the exact opposite. We go out and support and cheer our teams on to victory. No disrespect intended at all, but how old are you? How many real-life examples should I provide you?
