But can't you just submit your name to the Advisory board to get a Draft Grade without actually declaring?
I mean, I don't blame anyone, especially now that you can hire an agent to assist in this process.

You can participate in the evaluation process, receive feedback, participate in the combine, meet with teams, and still withdraw and return. There’s some nuances. I think they can only hire approved agents. I guess you can do it quietly? Not sure it matters
