If we hire anyone thats a coordinator, I guess Smart would be the choice. HC=Petrino or Malzahn. I honestly want either Petrino or Smart now(if we miss on the big fish).

I certainly don't want a coach that has never been a big time HC before, but if Smart gets the job I think it could turn out okay. I knew this would happen in terms of big names turning us away because JJ is a joke of an AD and our entire university is ran like a mom and pop restaurant. The main reason I don't want Gus is because he was a part of the terrible culture we have currently in our football program. I also do not think his offense is good enough to maintain success in the SEC without a great QB. If Smart were to get the job, I feel that it is safe to say the culture would change for the better. And let's face it... saban is an arse hole, he wouldn't keep a DC and pay him that well for charity. Just my thoughts on things.
