I know a teacher at McGill. He was in normal classes from what she said. Really good guy though.

Now, can you show me on a doll where West Mobile touched you?
I'd rather not.

I am not saying that someone will bump their score to a 34+ but I refuse to believe that proper preparation for the ACT/SAT will get you below the 22 needed if you really put the time in and especially if you had a decent education (which McgillToolen provides)
I have a great friend who deals in stocks. Will study like no one else and can spout it off like a recorder. However, when he sits to take a test he puts so much pressure in himself and something happens to him. He has failed many tests the first 2-3 times for certification. Fricker never gives up though and eventually passes. Stop thinking logical as sometimes their is no explanation why people do poorly at things others find easy.

And then there are some people that just don't have the capacity/ability to learn certain things no matter how hard they try. Studying isn't the be-all and end all.

I think I know who he is.
I actually played my last year at McGill under a former UMS coach, Coach Nemeith.

okay I got it.

yep, that's him.
I think I was joking around with him before about this same thing... probably a long time ago though.
But getting back to Jason Smith, I didn't mean to jump the gun on what kind of classes he took. Hell, I took the same ones as he did. So did most football players.
We've never had such a highly touted recruit come from our school before. I'm looking forward to see him getting his shot once he enrolls at Auburn.
I remember reading about how he worked really hard with David Morris before the AL-MIS all star game. He ended up playing WR for that game and ended up winning MVP honors.
David was a teammate of mine for a year on the varsity squad at McGill, really good guy. He actually walked on at Ole Miss and ended starting an Egg Bowl game at QB because Romaro Miller got hurt.

Well, Jason is no doubt a talent on the field, and a guy of good character off the field. But if he's this borderline on grades, then a semester or two at a prep school might be what's best for him. I hope things work out for both him and AU

You went to SPS? I did as well. Probably a little before your time. Class of '92.
And all 3 of my kids go there now.
