USC won 10 games a few years ago when they opened the season with Bama iirc

I think the lure of USC has nothing to do with their football program and everything to do with Hollywood and status. Lane Kiffin and his swimming pool parties was a good fit.

Peterson isn’t coming out of retirement. I’m happy with Harsin so far, but Fickell would’ve been my first call if I were the AD.

I think it's ridiculous they fired the guy after 2nd game. This is getting into NFL territory of absurd coaching carousels.

He has been a pretty terrible coach at USC for some time now - this goes way back before even this season even started. There is no reason USC shouldn’t dominate the PAC 12 every year.
