Btw: a 247 staff member says Brandon Marcello has been promoted to the national beat.

About eight months ago, we started working on a plan to expand our national editorial team at 247Sports in 2020 right after the conclusion of the season. Our first addition was bringing on Josh Pate from Late Kick with Josh Pate to lead our video team. Then a few weeks later we added Bud Elliott to the team as a National Recruiting Analyst and our Origination Editor. Our third piece was looking for a National College Football writer.
When looking internally for candidates for this position, one name that stood out and was a great fit for what we were looking for was Brandon Marcello. Since joining 247Sports nearly three years ago, Brandon has been one of our best reporters in the network. He’s passionate, creative and loves to chase and break news and is not afraid to try new features like Driving Plains or spending a football Saturday with Kristi Malzahn.

Marcello definitely earned it. We deserve a break from him too. Great for both parties indeed.
Strong CB movement favoring Baylor for Drones now. Just going off those and Salter’s to Tennessee, I think Davis will eventually be ours.

Sorry to keep the bad news coming but Keith thinks the Vols have passed AU for the lead on Cody Brown.
Also Jason Caldwell thinks ENSD in December will not happen this year given all this pandemic stuff. Thinks there will only be 1 NSD next February.

Tennessee is definitely full of momentum right now. They have CBs rolling in for a five star OLB.
