One of my daughters got the Zell Miller scholarship and went to Georgia as a result. I went to athens exactly 3 times in 4 years. One to move her in. One to a game, and one to graduation. I will never go back.

The one shirt I owned that had a Georgia logo went to Goodwill the day after her graduation. I hate those motherfrickers.

I had a dog get in my ex gfs (who wasnt even an auburn fan, just there cause I liked it) face after the game and I about caught a charge if the cop wouldnt have stepped in. I pushed him and then saw the cop out of my eye coming so stopped the punch from being thrown. Theyre all a bunch of jackasses old and young.

the blackout

I think this was the turning point from being a civil rivalry to a hate rivalry.

I grew up in North Alabama and never thought of UGA as a team I didn't like. I knew UGA was a rival but not near the level of Alabama. After the blackout game it kinda switched for me to think of them as more of a rival, and now that I live in Georgia I hate those ugly mutts.

My oldest got accepted early to UGA and had Zell. Luckily, we were able to send her to Auburn instead. I tried to make peace with her being a Georgia student and I had myself convinced I was fine with it. I now don't have to pretend.
