I’ll be riding it out here in Northeast Florida. Gotta go tie down the kids’ trampoline, so it doesn’t end up in the pool.

We are getting the worst of it right now and should be until 7-8 tonight. We got lucky and it went about 30 miles south of us so we are not getting the massive winds we were worried about.

We have had some 80mph gusts at times. The last 15 mins, we have gotten some very strong consistent winds. Not as much rain as we will get later today

We have opened the bar and are just doing our best to keep things light for my autistic son who has also handled it way better than I thought

I still have power here and at my shop which is great..... I have cameras in my shop and I do not see anything going on there

Havent heard from 88. Hope he is doing well

Hope your son is still doing well. My heart goes out. My wife is a teacher and has a student that is deathly afraid anytime he hears thunder or sees the skies turning dark.

Finally in a area with some cell coverage. I have power but no internet or tv or cell coverage at my house.

We did fine. Some pool cage damage and a small tree. Been cleaning up all day. It was wild, I won’t lie. We worried for a while then just went with it.

Could have been so much worse but thankfully it wasn’t. My shop is ok as well. The area is trashed pretty good there. Heading over tomorrow to get back set up.

Hope 88 is ok? Didn’t see where he checked in.

I'm not sure where people live but if 88 is also down in the area then yes we need a check in as well.

He does not live north of me. Did he go north? He lives in the same town as me. Near Cortez. I am at my shop now and have internet here.

I am going to be he does not have power or internet or one of the two....

If you are out there 88 and need power, I have a generator and gas.... Contact me

Have you had a chance to observe conditions over at your new build Lanier? Hope that is positive as well. Hope we hear from 88 soon.

I rode down there yesterday. We did not get any damage to our new house. Even the tybek held up on the roof as that is all we have protecting it as of now. The swimming pool was full and there was a little water on the floor but thats it.

A brand new build there which was only a slab and the concrete walls got blown over. How much wind does it take to blow a concrete wall over? Crazy. I have a few pics I will post as soon as I can transfer them

Very good to hear. Yeah, concrete walls being blown over would seem a difficult task. Damn

So your pool can hold water. Another good sign.

Your home did well. That’s awesome.

Ouch on the other one’s walls. It didn’t look like they were tied together though so you get it swaying and gravity can be a bitch with the rest.

Not to mention that Lanier's house was protected from straight-line winds by houses on either side - it appears the house that lost its walls had nothing to buffer the gusts from that direction.
