Agreed. I thought he might be alright, but he is flat awful.

You say he’s a great QB coach but I expect pretty bad QB play for the rest of the year no matter who is playing.

I expect bad QB play at Auburn every year

It’s very disheartening seeing just about every team in the country have better QB play than we’ve had in years.

Lol wut, didn’t even like Gus that much, just didn’t think he’d get fired. You still mad your favorite ad got fired?

Gotta love the blind delusion of the haters, cuz everything's all better and improving in this AD now right? And you're not allowed to count the b-ball coach that was hired by the former AD you *hate*, bitch.

Jesus this board. We don’t deserve a good coach at Auburn, this is one pussy fan base right now.

I think Harsin will get a West coast QB to Auburn eventually. Zach Wilson, Brett Rypien, etc kind of QB.

Mason I'm a little more concerned about.
Finally, something I can agree with you on!

Mason just isn't the guy! He's a defensive-Gus. Puts in a system that sucks balls, and too stubborn to change it. When we finally switched to man and started bringing pressure, our defense looked like a different team. I just wonder how much Harsin had to do with that decision.

I think we might have hired an over zealous strength and conditioning coordinator who can’t manage a staff. We’ll see. I’m pulling for harsin.

After 4 games, you have great insight into knowing what kind of coach Harsin is?

Right. And I guess if you had analyzed Nick Saban after his first 4 games at Alabama, you would have come up with some negative analysis of him too.

We need to see this coach develop this team, develop with his new coaching staff, and see how he recruits, and then develops them too AND THEN see the results....before we make the analogy u just made.

One question...

Did anyone evaluate in the 2nd half and in the 4th qtr to find out if Mason went away from his zone D?

I also think the coach of GA St pulled the reins in way to early, thinking he could wait it out and pull off another shocker. It seemed like he only called QB runs, and other running plays, instead of using the passing game to open up the run like they did in the first half.

GA State couldn’t throw the ball. It’s not that they reigned it in.. it’s that they were one dimensional to begin with
