Looked exhausted like a mask from Spirit Halloween, he was really playing for this one. When the game gets away from him for just a bit, he is clueless.
Car crash in slow motion is what I saw. Who called the WR pass play?
Kicker sucks, announcer sucks worse, but at least take a 50/50 kicker in that situation. Got to get rid of that announcer. It's just a microcosm of this program.

Giving them the ball at damn near mid field hurt. Then running shite trick plays when we were going to get a fg atleast. Their starting qb was out. Then having to force the ball due to being behind by more than 3 killed us

Exactly.
I would give the defense a solid B to B+ for their efforts. Their play put us in position to win the game. Our offense made too many mistakes and turnovers. Can’t win with 4 to their 1

Yeah I mean we gave up less than 90 yards passing with their stud WRs and TEs and had what, 4 sacks?
Defense played much better than anticipated. Definitely played well enough to win. How many games is this over the first half of this year and last half of last season where the offense just disappears for extremely long stretches? It looks like other programs are 20 years ahead of us when it comes to operating a competent offense. Teams with less talent on paper as well. It's just frustrating as hell.

Far too many times our offense goes Houdini in second half. That is a coaching problem when all said and done. Even though players need to be held accountable for their errors, our coaches are not doing something right in practice.
