Even as much as I hate to say it, I don't think JF3 is going to get much play. It is a shame because we all believed that he would be the starter at the start of the year. You can tell when was playing at the end of Arkansas State game that he seemed a little ticked off. I think that he can run the offense like Nick Marshall did, but we wouldn't have the ability to throw the ball because we don't have a player like Sean White under center. I don't know for sure but I don't think he will play much.

No we didn't. You may have but the vast majority of us knew better.

This part of your statement contradicts

but we wouldn't have the ability to throw the ball

This part.

Arky St. was not a good team, but they were the perfect team to practice against at full speed and see what works. Franklin should have had some throws if he is going to be a viable wildcat threat to have to scheme against. He probably should have been in there sooner, but SW needed the reps to continue to be comfortable and build rhythm with some of the early subs.

I did see some frustration from Franklin. Not sure if he wanted to throw or was just being hard on himself for not being comfortable with the playbook.

If we do well against A&M and LSU I expect to see Franklin get some more playing time against ULM early to start to become a bigger part of the team.
