I think she got tired of our shite
Her husband does post occasionally though.
The whole site just seemed to go backwards these past few years. I was a member there from nearly the beginning, spent a decade or more as a paying member, but it just didn't seem to be worth it anymore. The last time I tried to sign up in one of their sales, the site rejected me a couple of times because it always had trouble with my username after the merger. For that matter, it was kind of irritating to have to go by TigerHorn_Scout when the other TH had apparently not posted in years. Mark's done, and I am too. Won't go back.

It started to go down hill a lot earlier than that for me. When they banned Phil for asking if he could sign Caldwell's man boobs the quality really started to fall off. Small flex but before the merger I had 2 of my threads from there in the classics forum.

I was a Supper Clubber. Rode the drunk bus many a times.
Can't believe they tore it down for a fn Dunkin Donuts.

The last I heard, the Bus has a new home in Mobile
It's dated, but I haven't heard anything since. Can any Mobile folks confirm? Best show I saw at the WESC was Dave Matthews Band. That I can remember. Saw the Hoodoo Gurus at the Lambda Chi House in '89, age 19, next to McDonalds. Saw Drivin and Cryin a few times along the way, Guadalcanal Diary... Hazy;-). REM, The Cult, 311 and a few others at JBE Coliseum. Living Color at Student Act. Good times! War Eagle.
ETA - As far as I can remember John Brandt owned / managed the WESC. He's from Auburn. Younger brother Chris, a year older than me, was a sharp-shooting power forward at AHS, and earned a scholly to AU, played and started around '88-90 or so. He is currently assistant coach for AHS basketball, as far as I know. Good guy. AHS has always had basketball talent. I used to keep the books. More fun times. Go Tigers.
ETA 2 - For shits and giggles, found Chris' AU highlights
ETA 3 - All 3 Brandt brothers played hoops for AHS. John Caylor - now that is a name I have not heard in a verly long time. Watch the highlights through and see Chris about to fight Shaq.
ETA 4 - It's fine if no one gives a shite, but here are his AHS highlights the year we lost in the State Championship game to...Vigor I think. What a time trip. AHS had at least 3 players from that team sign D-1 scholarships. Chris to AU, Austin Neville to uga and William Neloms to Middle Tennessee. Coach Frank Tolbert and his wife Dorothy (my typing teacher) are Auburn legends. Good people. If you live in or around Auburn, please support AHS, check out a game or three. Chris Brandt's AHS highlights

I joined under the 75% off promotion they ran during basketball season last year. I haven't decided if I'm going to renew. I probably will if they run a good promotion like that again. It's definitely worth the small fee to have access to all of the recruiting and "insider" info to me. I understand if you don't, but I hope you'll reconsider. I've always enjoyed your posts.

I regret that I didn't go more to the Supper Club. Probably only a handful of times.

My bad. I thought you meant that you used to post on the Super Club board on the ITAT site. Back in the day, we had a virtual drunk bus some nights.

Just for reference the Dunkin is further up College.
It was built when part of the trailer park behind the Supper Club was still there.
There is a new little section of 2-3 business now that aqre separate. I think one is some type of Korean Fried Chicken. Ponko Chicken and a Yummi Crab.

Thanks, Terrace. Unfortunately, I haven't been to Auburn since the old SC was torn down. I'm sure I'll be shocked by all of the changes around town when I do go visit...hopefully this season.
