Was that ever addressed by Malzahn or anyone else after the game? Know at this point it doesn’t matter, but wondering if that was mistake by refs or I missed something.

It was a good call. I re-watched it earlier. Peguess (sp) was set behind the RT. Schwartz was in motion. Bo and Tank. That's 4. Whoever the WR is at the top of the screen was off the LOS also.
ETA It's roughly 58 minutes into the game by my recording. Mine starts 1 minute early.

They called it for the top inside WR I believe. On a passing play it makes sense because he’s be eligible. But considering it was a designed run he was just a split out blocking lineman. And he was very slightly indented off the line but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was designed to be on the line as a covered ineligible receiver.
ETA tldr: I think it comes down to that slot receiver on top of screen and a)whether he was on/off and b) whether he signaled the refs to his intentions to be on/off
All the above is based off possibly poor memory but those were my thoughts at the time

Inside guy was on LOS. Man up top was behind LOS by a 1/2 yard. From the look of everything else, that WR should have been on the LOS.

Ok so I had it backwards. In either case my assumption was that if they were both on LOS and were recognized as being so, it was a legal play where the slot guy was a covered receiver/glorified blocker.
