I'm assuming that this is all the info we currently have?

I have more, but I am refusing to share it.

You talking about Stevens hamstring?
Here is the article on him. Doesn't sound like he is down, but I know hamstring issues are hard to get over during the season.

Oh, that didn't sound too bad in context. There is plenty of time for him to chill before the season opener. He's going to be one of the more talented WR's we've seen in a while, I'd bet.
Also, that article leads me to believe that Craig is optimistic about the WR's... I thought I heard just the opposite on this board.

I've just heard him say we don't have a go to guy right now

That just sounds like he is trying to bait them into stepping up. He's trying to make the leader step up even more, I'm sure.

Stevens injured his hamstring. Says D. Craig.
ETA: Just read Prometheus' link. Pretty much exactly what it says

Yeah, when I read the article it didn't sound like a big deal.

Article on Mcneal and him being in the doghouse back in the spring. Still not a fan.

Without going into specifics, Auburn safeties coach Charlie Harbison said Friday senior Demetruce McNeal missed the final five spring practices because of a conflict with team rules.
For various reasons, Auburn's top returning tackler has missed 13 straight practices going back to the spring. He hasn't practiced during preseason camp as he recovers from what defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson called "minor surgery" to repair an infection.
His spring absence stemmed from an off-field reason.
"The bottom line is, there was some things he didn’t do, as far as with the team," Harbison said. "... And he did his part to make up on Coach (Gus) Malzahn’s rules and the staff rules. He’s back in good graces and everything’s good."
For a time, McNeal was considered day-to-day during the spring. Harbison said Friday there were some tense moments when he thought about arguably his best player's future with the program.
"In my mind, you didn’t want to lose a guy like that," Harbison said. "But the team is bigger than any individual. The team is bigger than me. It’s about team unity. It’s a team. It’s not one individual. I tell guys all the time, ‘It’s the team. Anybody can be replaced.’ Everybody can be replaced.
"It’s like I tell them, ‘If you’re not doing your job, you can be replaced.’ If I’m not doing my job, I’m going to be replaced."
Harbison has been pleased with McNeal's approach during camp. Even though he's inactive, Harbison said McNeal has gotten "mental reps" each practice.
"I expect him to come in and get back in the mix," Harbison said. "His progression would be dependent on him, as far as his body."

quote:A couple of holes in there. 23 never said we were getting Shaq Wiggins. And I just double checked. 23 never said ALL IN on Brandon Harris. He said "AU" which for him is a prediction on where a guy signs. It does not mean heavy lean or anything like that. And the rest of the stuff you are referencing he was spot on about at the time. However, the 3-9 season and the coaching change blew all that shite up like an atom bomb. I am not saying he is always right but he is most of the time. And when he is not it's usually because things change more than him just missing.
If 23 was always right we would be discussing whether Tray Matthews and Shaq Wiggins would start along with Foster. And whether Derrick Green or Greg Bryant would get more carries this year. He did pick Roc Thomas to AU but he also said Brandon Harris was ALL IN as well.

I'm not saying that my guy is better than 23 or Bryan Matthews. I'm just relaying what someone that has been right more than 23 told me

Quite a few folks on this board have a tendency to put one foot off the ledge a little too quickly. We need to hand out some jump to conclusions mats.

Tate was just on the radio and pretty much said it's between Frazier and Marshall. Said Frazier came in prepared and playing well. Said Marshall went off in the scrimmage making some good runs and passes.
From his source who was there.
