Does Gus have in his arsenal a "bubble-n-go"?

Here's something I never thought BM would say...From a general standpoint, the talent was overrated at WR
I really can't comment on many guys because honestly it seems like our receivers hardly even touched the ball last year other than Blake (I blame this mostly on atrocious qb play), but it's pretty clear trovon reed isn't the great WR we all though he would be when recruited.
I still have hope for the guy, but it just doesn't look like he's gonna ever "get it"

Well when you are playing with our lowl evel talent offense, your obvious talent deficiencies aren't as exposed. Add that to his ability to pick up defensive schemes (mentally not physically) and he looks impressive in practice
Yep, practice warrior.

1. What is going on with Jordan Diamond?
2. What kind of physical results did Holland have in off season S&C?
3. If Wallace falls to 3 or 4 on the depth chart, will they plug him in somewhere to get his leadership on the field? Holding for field goals, etc.?
4. If someone besides NM wins QB job is it likely they plug him in somewhere else to benefit from his athleticism?
3. Not sure
4. Been told NM stays at QB as long as he is 1st or 2nd string so short answer is no.

Some players won't get noticeably better until they get game experience. Some players always look better in practice. Not to mention Holland is likely keying into what the offense is doing because he is so familiar with it. I would hope the coaches take that into consideration.
I'm fine with Holland winning the job as long as poor play during the season will warrant him being benched. Chizik was incredibly slow to bench players who were performing terribly. I'm always for giving another guy a shot. As long as that isn't the case I won't have a heart attack.
As important as practice is--I know this may sound crazy--coaches tend to overvalue it. Game experience trumps it tenfold.

Yea, I love psychedelics, particularly fungus. Helps open me up to new ideas

Ahh, I see. Well, if you don't mind me asking, what's your typical dose?
Posted on 8/8/13 at 9:43 am to rbWarEagle
Not at all man
Depends on when I tripped last. Tolerance builds fast and last 7-14 days. So if I've taken an appropriate break, ill normally eat 3.5 to 5 grams of dried P. Cubensis (most typical active mushroom you see; if you've ever bought them from someone this was almost certainly it)
I don't really look at them as drugs, I'll use them for meditation sometimes or just to chill on a Saturday if I have no responsibilities
I really just like mycology man. I'm actually starting a portobello and shitaki grow right now
PM me if you have any more questions I'd be happy to answer if I can
Edited for paranoia

Nice, thanks for the response. My email is my handle @gmail so shoot me a message when you get a chance. I do have a question of two
Ellitor, is it likely that Louis will be in th starting rotation at WR? We will probably be swapping them out early and often, right?

Sounds like bray is the only one that has locked down a starting spot

I guess Bray is going to be the WR version of McCalebb. Bubbles and sweeps.

Ugh. I guess I wouldn't mind bubble screens if we had any WR's that could block

quote:Not sure. My quess at the starting 3 for the first few games is Bray, Denson, and Reed; with opportunities for others to crack it through production. I am not predicting this but if some of our WRs are indeed overrated don't be surprised if a guy like Tony Stevens has a year comparable in terms of yards and TDs to the Freshman that did well at Arky St. last year.

JD McKissic's stats work out to 54% of the yards & 63% of the TDs our entire passing game produced last year. I'd be stunned if anyone, much less a freshman, put up those kinds of numbers for us.
I know we expect Gus to be a QB whisperer, but it would be quite the revolution for our passing game to step forward quite that far.
