I was listening to a radio talk show this morning and this was the main topic of conversation.

Sure seems like to me that the longer he is here, the more he shifts the blame.

This BS is why AU is known for eating its own.. Keep feeding the media this attitude and the entire program will crater for two decades instead of a multi year rebuild.

Yeah, this seems to be a media narrative meant to rile people up largely by taking him out of context.

He said he and the coaches need to do better and then called out some of the specific mistakes that made a difference in the game. At a certain point it’s the players who play, and mistakes like fumbling, needless personal fouls, and getting beat deep in a drop 8 coverage are things that everyone who knows basic football knows not to do, but ultimately you have to execute on the field.

I really dont know what yall expect him to say without completely going out of character absent of ripping clothes off and pouring ashes on his head. Every coach in America that loses goes to the podium and says "that starts with me" and on and on turning taking responsibility into a cliche. Freeze did that too. Yall are mad because he said WRs are wide open so we need to stop throwing to the other team. That is a fact. However yall also said this when the blame was pointed at Payton very frequently. Yall also love to point out they are getting paid these days. I know Hank is your boy but please get back to wanting to win.

It is a fact we moved the ball pretty regularly absent turnovers or dumb 3rd down penalties. We outgained Arkansas despite giving the ball away so much. Freeze is being transparent and yall are bashing him for it.

He should say 50 Hail Aubies and stand at Toomers Corner every day for two weeks and recite the Auburn Creed.

And every post-game presser should be very short and go just like this

How is he shifting the blame with calling facts.

•tacky hit out of bounds on 3rd down resulted in TD
•fumbling the ball heading towards the end zone resulted in TO
•3rd and long pass complete for TD of a repeat from Iron Bowl.

He didn’t mention any names. He states pure facts. That’s not throwing players under the bus.

Calling a spade a spade. We do it on this forum all the time.
