kristacnix As I've watched Bo wrestle these last few weeks with his decision, the emotions have been overwhelming. It is no secret how much love our family has for Auburn University. Maybe too much. Our Emma Grace and now Bo are third generation graduates. I've watched Bo his whole life cheer every Auburn victory and lament every loss. Many sons would run from the pressure that Bo faced when he decided to come to Auburn and play at a school where your dad lived in the legend and lore of its football program. Most QBs in Bo's situation would choose a school where he would have the best opportunity for individual achievement and success. But Bo chose Auburn. And honestly, I've watched him endure a narrative the past three years that would make most men crumble. At 21, he lives out the Auburn Creed. I am incredibly proud of Bo's character through it all, his work ethic, and his leadership. And I'm absolutely proud of his play. I've seen him shoulder the blame and I've witnessed him enjoy the thrill of many Auburn victories on the field. Some people don't really understand the love of sport and the worth of loving something bigger than yourself. I'm thankful Bo has experienced that. Without a shadow of a doubt Bo has given it his all. Now, it's time for Bo to love himself more than Auburn. Some will understand. Some will not. We are so excited to see what unfolds for Bo with new opportunities for him and Izzy and places to continue to shape not only his football career but their life. We are grateful for so much! He has dreamed of wearing that AU helmet, winning the Iron Bowl, playing in SEC games and in historical venues, and walking across that graduation stage. Those dreams have come true! We have been truly blessed and are overwhelmed with the support of family, close friends, and those in our Auburn Circle. God is good! War Eagle!? #Jeremiah29:11

If Gus could evaluate talent in the preseason or Bo’s last name wasn’t Nix, Malik Willis would have been our starter the last 3 years.
This is so dumb. Bo was clearly a better QB from the start. Malik has turned into a very exciting and good QB since given the chance against below avg competition, but he was not better than Bo to begin with. And Gus couldn’t develop him into what he is now. C’mon.

I'll admit I wanted us to put him in when Bo Nix was shitting the bed against Ga and Ga state. I wanted Bo Nix to be the 5* QB he was coming out of high school. I wanted him to win championships and go down in AU lore like his Dad and Grandad. That didn't happen, Bo was an below avg to avg SEC QB. Bo's family so playing the victim on social media and blaming the fans for Bo Nix leaving AU, that makes me wish I had never heard the name Nix. If you can't take fans on social media and message boards, you got no business being an SEC QB. I'm glad Bo is at Oregon. War Eagle Bo! Thanks for the memories! Now let it go Jang. He's gone. You still gonna rock that Oregon "O" and bitch about us making Bo leave when he is buried on the depth chart next season?

You don’t get all the credit for running Bo off. So now don’t be getting a big head. Ignorant casuals in real life had Bo Nix fatigue as well.
Please watch the Georgia game again. He was the best performing player on offense that day.

Wait, so he DID leave because he got his feelings hurt from a few mean fans online?
What a massive vagina.

You're right. But remind me again, what was the score? He was the least shitty player on a pretty shitty offensive day.

What could Nix do about that? How can you ask someone to move on just because he cannot turn chicken shite into chicken salad? We led the nation in drops with 23 at the time while Council, Brahms, and the OL were playing their worst ball .

Nothing. Nix's problems weren't all his fault. But some of them were. Most of Bo's problems were in his head. In big gamesthe moment is too big for him. He freaks out, goes through his progressions too fast or bails out of the pocket instead of stepping up letting the ball go.

That’s rattled Bo. I don’t like seeing rattled Bo either. With more time to throw the ball or a better scheme or better pass catchers, you probably would’ve saw more of the first half against MSU, or Bo’s last two games against LSU. Gus didn’t help him out, but don’t forget that Harsin recruits like he is allergic to OL as well.

He’s just keeping the troll going for the attention now.

Not until we have a QB better than the guy dumb fans ran off.
We better hope Caleb Williams or Brock comes in. Brock ain’t ready but he at least provides competition and some upside

The Nix Fam strikes me as being VERY high maintenance.

Auburn Rant: Time to move on from a guy that sub 60% career completion percentage.
Jang: But the new guy’s is worse.
Auburn Rant: Yeah but Bo is a PUSSY. A quitter! You here me!
Jang: Didn’t the new guy quit his team before the bowl game.
Auburn Rant: That’s different. We believe in him. You’re just being a contrarian.
Jang: No, I’m just not as quick to throw people under the bus. We ran the guy off.
Auburn Rant: LIAR!!
Jang: Here is what his family said:
Auburn Rant: They’re high maintenance PUSSIES.
Jang: They’re right though.
Auburn Rant: Just go be an Oregon fan. You’re no real fan.
Jang: If you didn’t want this conversation you could’ve banned me when I asked for it
Auburn Rant: denied again. You just want attenshun

I would say Calzada did not quit on his team. He was playing through a shoulder injury the last couple of games.
He needed surgery on his non throwing shoulder, and elected to take care of that early, and since he was transferring he wanted to get that fixed as soon as possible.
Fisher has said that Calzada is one tough competitor and a fighter.
So I wouldn't use that as one of your negative points on a player, just like any of the fans that struggled w/ Bo as our QB woulnd't call him a quitter either for not sticking it out at the school he says he still loves.
