Especially Sallee... he tries so hard to "prove" that he ain't a homer.
I listen to his podcast most weeks and he has been talking Auburn up all year. He picked us to beat UGA and Bama, so I was surprised he picked UGA.
I can't believe how many people I have seen picking UGA though. Most all of them pick UGA because of the intangibles though, because nobody that watched that first game could pick UGA for any other reason. I've heard that Auburn is due for a let down game, coming off too much of a high, they're be beat up, might take UGA too lightly due to the blowout, UGA will be more focused/mad/chip on the shoulder.

Not me. I haven't been this sure about a game in, well, a week.

I'd rather hear from Vegas than sports media because their money is in the game, media's money is in you watching the game.
That said, this feels like 2010 rematch against South Carolina again.

Yeah I'm worried too, but I'm always worried. Even if we lose, I'm not going to be all that mad (unless it's a blowout). Ever since the LSU game, it's like we've been playing with the house's money.

Fornelli was on pardon my take, his reasoning is hilarious
He says UGA got down big early and had to abandon the run. Lol it was 9-7 with two mins left in the first half.
Then he says the Auburn pass D is way better than rush D so UGA will have the advantage this time.
Also Auburn is going to have a letdown game bc I’m sure we won’t be focused for the CFB quarterfinals

So he's saying if they have to rely on Fromm to pass it ain't happening.
In the sec Auburn has 3rd best rushing defense and 5th best passing.

Like most of you guys I've played a lot of sports and given and taken my share of whippings over the years.
It's just as motivating, if not more so, after you've whooped somebody to have people doubting if it was legit or not and wanting to get another shot to leave no doubt.
All UGA's crying about officials and our players hearing all the stuff you mentioned (UGA played their worst game, AU at him, due for a letdown etc...) I think balances out that intangible of UGA's revenge.
Not being at home or having Kerryon are two big factors though and the game should definitely be much more competitive but I trust our D to get it done. Just hope the O can find an identity if Kerryon can't go.

What we are seeing is that people are predicting a UGA win because of feelings, that Jordan Hare is worth 23-30 points (but for some reason not against Bama) and Jarrett Stidham doesn't exist.
And this didn't happen... (courtesy NYCAUB)
But here is their drive list after the first TD
5 plays 3 yards
3 plays 7 yards
3 plays -11 yards
3 plays 8 yards
6 plays 27 yards
2 plays 1 yard
7 plays -7 yards
6 plays 45 yards FG
3 plays 3 yards
3 plays 0 yards
14 plays 74 yards We were dancing on the field during this drive

Is that what you Vegas guys call late money moving in Auburn's direction?

Lots of back-up players in on defense on that drive as well.
Thinking there were some walk-ons out there.

That's what I am hoping as well. No reason UGA should have any mental edge coming into this game. A lot of people are saying we are due for a letdown game after 2 emotional wins, but we aren't getting as much credit for being the hottest team in football right now.

This is another god point. There is no doubt that Auburn's defense will show up. Typically when Gus' offense gets rolling there is no stopping it- 2013 is a great example of that. And the play calling and execution against UGA and Bama was a thing of beauty to watch. We drove up and down the field all game on the #5 and #1 defense in the country. I think the only way that changes is if Kerryon can't go and it throws off the whole offense.

I still love these lines:
1. It's hard to beat a team twice (except in the SECCG it's a near perfect record of winning again)
2. Georgia will be more familiar with Auburn in all three phases (Auburn on the hand will be less familiar and forgotten everything they saw 3 weeks ago)
3. Auburn is due for a let down (as if Auburn hasn't noticed being told your blowout win was a fluke, your beat down to Alabama was because Bama is overrated and the winner goes to the playoffs to play Clemson and OU)
4. Georgia had a bad game (or a 19 year old true Freshman QB and Jim Chaney might struggle against the first quality team they've played all year)

I think UGA is a much better team than SC was that year, mainly defensively.
I'm usually always worried but the last three SEC title games we were in (04,10,13) I was extremely confident. This is an experienced and talented team we are playing against and probably without our best player. It's going to take quite an effort but we can certainly do it.

Where is it 3? I’ve seen 1.5, 2, and 2.5.
