Kind of the chicken or the egg though isnt it. People would not be jumping so readily into the portal were it not for the promise of more NIL money.

The good side is, you can raise the floor of your personnel by having "the conversation" with them and pushing them out.

One rule I would like to see initiated, you hit the portal, you cannot come back. This bullshite where you put yourself out there just to milk some more money out of your current team. Its akin to your wife asking for an open marriage for a while. Its a win win for the kids now, there should be repercussions.

Second, if we pick up a kid out of the portal and he does not work, we should be able to boot him, hopefully we can nix his NIL money and have "the conversation".
