I can’t say I’m devout but Hugh hiding behind his faith while claiming persecution and creating more mockery of Christianity is only another reason why I don’t like him.
That doesn’t even get to the fact that he cheated a lot to get his wins and Ole Miss was left with nothing to show for it in the end. I could negative recruit him in the Bible Belt for days at a time.

We’re really still roasting Hugh Freeze for paying players while we claim Cam Newton was the best investment Auburn ever had? Really? We’re still acting like Auburn hasn’t cheated all throughout the years and not been caught?

I’ll give you two names that I think Auburn could hire: Deion Sanders and Lane Kiffin. Both would be over Hugh Freeze. Other than that, I got nothing.

I feel like the pro-freeze crowd must be like a relative or just so in love with the the 8 and 7 win teams they'd sell their soul for another 8 and 7 win coach that might almost or sometimes beat someone unexpected by putting all their eggs into that basket for that one team that year.
