With judgment and character evaluation skills like that, what could possibly go wrong?!?!?

He was up 43-24 against Alabama late in the 4th quarter until they scored a couple of garbage time TDs. They routed Alabama for most of the game.

7 point game when that TD happened, along with it being 3&1.

If Bama stops that play and forces a punt, who's to say that it's not a completely different game.

Basically the same argument as the 4&25 play.

We will be extremely fortunate if our results are 12-25 on the field for our first 3 seasons if Freezus gets the gig.

You are basing your entire support for the guy on two absolutely meaningless games played nearly a decade ago.

I think your totally unimaginative handle is hiding a Bama alter. Only a Tide fan would put so much emphasis on 'beating Saban' on an AU board.

I do wonder if most of the noise about Freeze is pushed by bama. But then I put the cap back on the glue and take off my tinfoil hat.

Looks to me like he was improving Ole Miss every year he coached then got hammered and shite spiraled out of control. why rewrite history with NCAA punishment talking points. Above are the actual on the field result at one of the worst historical programs in the SEC.

My push back is we already fired the better version of Freeze in Malzahn. Why would we want the shitty coach with baggage?

Ain't nothing bitter about it.

But there is a trend of people who use Christianity to hide problems/present themselves as the bestest Christian who ever Christianed usually end up being shitbirds.

After all, St. Francis of Assisi said "Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words".

All Hugh does is use words.

Nope. His illegal recruiting class moved on and his cheating arse got canned. Once he lost an illegal advantage, he was just a shittier little version of Gus.

That 5-7 record, they hadn't been hammered yet.

They did conveniently self-impose a bowl ban that year though.

Remember, the NCAA ruling didn't come down until after the 2017 Egg Bowl, which was Matt Luke's first year as "HC" (albeit with an interim title due to Mr. Rub & Tug getting caught by a Miss. St photographer)

I'm sure the cloud of scandal hung over their head the entire year correct? Same as the media did to Auburn in 2011, or did you forget?

Wrong. That is your simple brain only attributing Hugh as an option due to beating bama. Pretty sad honestly. Little bro syndrome at its worst

Here's Dan Mullen's record at MSU, which really IS the 2nd worst historical program in the SEC:

8-5
7-6
10-3
9-4
6-7

Virtually identical, without the NCAA penalties. And unlike Freezus, he actually developed an NFL starting QB (Dak Prescott) during that period.

Not that I want Mullen either, but he did essentially as well as Freezus at a historically worse program over the same stretch, and yet you are shilling for one and ignoring the other.

Wonder why.

In 2016? Not really. They were still saying that most of the issues actually came from Houston Nutt until they couldn't avoid it, then announced before the season that they were taking a bowl ban.

The cloud hung over their head more during 2017 since the summer before the season is when they had all of the hearings in Louisville, KY. (The one where Leo Lewis famously showed up.)

We got cleared in October 2011. We lost more games once we had been cleared than before.

Virtually identical,
only in your head. Literally, not so much. However, both programs saw some of their best successes over the same time period so I do agree with that statement.

Why am I defending Freeze as an option? Because the anti-freeze crowd tries to diminish what Freeze accomplished at Ole Miss in order to justify their own opinions about who should be our next HC. Hugh was a great coach at Ole Miss. Accept reality
