That was certainly the case with Scot Loeffler

Here's an out of the blue candidate:
- Young guy (32)
- Majority of career in the deep South, including one season in SEC
- Highly regarded recruiter
- 4+ years experience as a coordinator, including 3+ at P5 level
- Current OC at P5 program that is top 10 in total offense and scoring offense
- As OC/QB coach, had the top Freshman QB at a P5 conference school, currently his QB is the frontrunner for P5 conference Player of the Year
Did you guess correctly?

Seriously, if it came down to him, Grimes or Lashlee, I know which one I'd pick

Bless our livers because Lord knows I’ll make them pay.

Then i hope they announce on my birthday in March.
In all seriousness how many interviews will they do with a candidate before they get hired?

I could see Dilly getting Memphis if they have an opening in the next few years. Or snagging the Arizona St job from Harsin this cycle would be hilarious.

I have some intel actually
They’re down to 3, and they’re interviewing these guys over and over until they tap out and only 1 remains

They should determine the next AD by having a corn nugget eating contest Niffer's

I heard AU called Trump about being our head ball coach and athletic director next year

I’ve actually seen this. Four interviews and two lunches later, and the guy doesn’t get the job. It’s not a good look.

Depends where the lunch was, and how many McDonald's kids meals they're allowed to order

I know this is a joke but didn’t the NCAA force Auburn to split the jobs during the last years of Pat Dye’s era?
You knows what’s weird from reading a bleacher report article it was the Montgomery advertiser stirring the pot in the late 1980’s which is the same company that stirred the pot about Harsin’s differences with southern black players. Why does the advertiser hate Auburn?

If they help rid us of Harsin in any way, shape, or form then they must not completely hate us?

I don't trust Oregon OCs for HC gigs.
See Frost, Scott; or Helfrich, Mark.
