Wouldn't be my first choice, but I don't hate this like a lot of people seem to. We have a long history w/ Clemson (49 games, I believe), they are a respectable team, and it is a doable road trip. I went there a few years ago and thought the fans were great (unlike in WV where they are complete trash).
IMO playing Clemson is just as entertaining as playing several SEC teams Arkansas, KY, Mizzou, etc.
I think it is kind of cool that we are somewhat re-establishing this historical rivalry.
The only thing is that they obviously have an annual rivalry game w/ SC, so I might prefer an ACC team that hasn't already "partnered up" w/ an SEC team. Maybe UNC, Va Tech, NC State or UVA.

That's not the case here. When you play Clemson 6 times in a span of 10 years or so it gets old. Nobody here is asking for the best non conference game ever..they're simply asking to play someone other than Clemson.

Clemson is one of the best programs in the country right now. I think it is a great idea to extend this rivalry.

Clemson is a fine opponent...I just want some variety.
UCLA, Nebraska, Washington, BC, Illinois, TCU, etc...
