When national sportswriters have our current roster in the top 10-20 across the board and someone is saying we don’t have any bucket getters and look like a mid-level NIT roster yeah it’s Scoper-ish
Posted on 5/2/25 at 7:47 am to jangalang
You’ve yet to offer anything reasonably compelling

Tell me why that NIT comment offends you, cumlord

Your best argument is way too early polls. lol
My whole argument is we have no clue what we have knucklehead

No, it would be the proven talent we have on the roster
Posted on 5/2/25 at 7:55 am to auburnnyc94
Pegues was also a proven talent. A lot of talent transfers out if they dont fit.
Posted on 5/2/25 at 7:55 am to auburnnyc94
To see a roster with the talent ours clearly has in the current roster continuity landscape of college basketball I think it’s insane to think it is a mid-level NIT roster. Why do you disagree? Have anything to offer? Or are you just still working through the piss cheerios?
Posted on 5/2/25 at 7:57 am to auburnnyc94
I literally said earlier
"I dont think we will be as bad as he predicted"
But I am not butthurt he uttered those words that offended you because I have no clue what we will look like.
You are. That's a you problem.

4 of our projected starters have already played high major basketball successfully and they are coming together to play for a highly regarded coach Bruce Pearl. Save me your JP Pegues comment although that has some merit evaluating when thinking about Freeman, Bashir, and the freshmen

I think it’s insane to think that if you look at the roster. Won’t lose any sleep over it

nyc still beating the cult drum.
jang still clapping his cheeks.

What has that roster done for Auburn? You keep saying the word proven but I dont think you know what that word means.
Talent is talent. Jahki Howard was talent.

I'm not even talking about talent, although I am very high on Magwood and the other Frosh. The proven talent is too good for us not to make some noise. The cohesiveness will determine how much
I will exit the "cult" if Pettiford stays in the draft. A lot of this rides on him.

This is exactly where my case has been the entire time. We dont know where we are at. The chemistry and the fit have to matter. I didn't go attacking people for projecting 3 seed ceilings because I'll let what hangs in the air stay open to be revisited later.
Also because I am a nice guy.
