Glad to know we can have civilized conversations on this board. Y’all are correct, I know nothing about basketball. Actually, I don’t even know how many people are on the floor. I mean, I have no idea what I’ve been playing and involved with my whole life, I’m really glad I got on here to tell me all of these new things and have people tell me what this sport is. I’m sorry I’m not a homer and that I see things s objectively. Everyone wonders why we choke in the postseason for the most part but continue to ignore the issues during the regular season. It was nice to talk to one or two of you that I could actually have a conversation about basketball. Take care!

lol. Maybe just lower your expectations of blowing every inferior team out and covering every spread. Basketball isn’t played in a vacuum.

Yale Yeah, happens every year in the tournament. Good teams lose to lesser opponents every week.

SC was being very physical on Broome and he couldn’t get to the goal for his shots. He was forcing bad shots and since they weren’t double teaming he was not able to pass as easily as others

We’re in a funk defensively and need to come out of it quickly. Been going on for 3 games. Our rebounding is poor and that is causing our offensive lapses

This is that dumb shite that you and NYC do. It has been like this since 2019.

It's not just the crowd. It's the travel and sleeping in a hotel. There's a reason road teams struggle in every sport.

Road is hard. It's hard in any sport.

Yesterday...amazingly...home teams were 3-5 in the SEC.

They get free education and hundreds of thousands in NIL to play on the playground. They can tough it out.

If we are sleeping in a hotel in South Carolina then thats our own dumb fault.

Lose to lesser talented teams? My man, college basketball might not be for you. It’s going to happen. Not exclusive to Auburn.

So you are just happy to make the tournament. Got it.

Does other teams struggle every year to make it out of the first weekend?

2 years ago Klingan went down for Uconn and they lost 6 of their next 8 games. Still won the tourney. If anything this will help some other players expand their roles. When Broome comes back and teams take away what he does we will have more answers than yesterday at USCe.

Our issues right now are defense and rebounding. This team has proven it can play great defense and be at least capable of rebounding better. We just need to get a little tougher and give more effort. It’s hard to sustain what we were doing earlier this season. We’re in a lull. Just need to snap out of it. The problem is there are no cupcake games in the SEC this season. The conference is going to be brutal.

You are really not ready when someone storms the court when we are playing them at their home because they beat the #1 team.

But lighten up, man. I am looking toward to insightful posts from posters like you who have played and know BB. Otherwise I am just cheering on dunks. I would like to understand zone, man, traps etc and other fundamentals to enjoy the game better since we are playing good basketball for the past few years and hopefully will continue to do so.
